Description of Taylor 5* Commercial Digital Cooking Thermometer & Timer - Probe
This digital cooking thermometer with probe cooks meats according to your taste level - from rare to well done, including a user-programmable setting - without the guesswork. Simply insert the rugged stainless steel probe (covered in durable silicone) into your meat, attach the probe to the base unit located outside the oven or barbecue, and program to your preferred level of doneness. The easy-to-read backlight display shows the inner temperature of the food during cooking. An audible alarm sounds when the inner temperature is met. The base unit's magnetic back with stand makes it easy to attach and read from any metallic surface. A 99-minute countdown timer operates independently of the thermometer. To conserve battery life, the thermometer shuts off automatically after 8 minutes if the temperature has remained unchanged.Capacity: 32 - 392°F/0 - 200C
