Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Taylor Two-Event Digital Timer/ClockCustomer Review: Decent for the money Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this for my girlfriend who is a teacher to use to time things such as tests or other activities. Having two timers seemed to be a good idea. The first one we got from Amazon had a broken start/stop button which was no fun. Amazon shipped us another via 2 day shipping and this new one works just fine. However I do have to say the quality isnt the greatest. It is not junk by any means but I worry about the buttons breaking after heavy use. But for the cost of this thing I do think it is worth it. If you want a cheap timer that will do the job I would get this one. The magnetic clip on the back is very sturdy and is a nice feature. One other nice thing is that it has very easy to read and use, instructions on the back of the package.
Description of Taylor Two-Event Digital Timer/ClockClassic Two Event Big Digit Timer/Clock When there?s a pie in the oven and spaghetti boiling on the stovetop, this two-event timer tracks the cooking times for each dish independently so nothing overcooks. Each timer counts either up or down to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds and beeps at the end of each elapsed time setting. When the timer is not in use, the gadget operates as a digital clock, reporting the current time in hours, minutes, and seconds in either a 12- or 24-hour display. The LCD screen displays an easy-to-view 1-inch readout and the timer itself can mount to a magnetized surface, clip to clothing, or stand on a tabletop. The instrument is simple to set and has easily identifiable buttons for the clock function, each of the two timers, hours, minutes, seconds. Additionally, a start/stop button pauses and resumes countdowns midway through the scheduled time and stops the alarm at the end of set time period. The timer also has a recall button that, when pressed once, remembers the last recorded time frame and, when pressed twice, clears the memory for resetting. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included) and Taylor ensures complete accuracy in its readings through a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde
